In addition to dressing based on your personality, there are some things you can do to highlight certain areas of your body based on your body type. I went over what it means to be a mesomorph, ectomorph, and endomorph in the previous two books in this series, so if you’re unsure which one you are, read over the first one and you’ll have all the information you need to know for sure on https://zura.com.au/default/other-products

To sum it up rather briefly here though, mesomorphs tend to be more muscular and in shape (think male bodybuilders or women with a lot of curves), ectomorphs are generally thin and not very curvy (hence often being referred to as “stick thin”), and endomorphs are usually more round and have a higher fat content.

Now, if you’re like most people, you want to jump right to the section that fits your predominant body type and learn what you can do to maximize your assets and minimize your liabilities. However, you may also want to read the other sections too, because most people fall under more than one category based on their own physical attributes, which will give you more than enough tips to look your best no matter what your body structure. You must me wondering how all this is related to gym wear…

Body Flattering Tips for Mesomorphs

If you are predominantly mesomorph (muscular and shapely), you want to avoid wearing anything that has horizontal stripes. This includes shirts, dresses, and pants as each one has the ability to shorten and widen your body, which is the last thing you need if you want to appear thin and in shape.

Also, avoid loose fitting clothing as it will tend to make you look heavier as well, which means that the style of wearing shirts and pants that are 1-2 sizes too big is off limits to you if you want to play up your body type without adding bulk. Instead, pick clothing items that fit you well and are meant for someone of your size and stature. Try the gym wear from Zura shop. https://zura.com.au/default/women/women-tops/zura-high-speed-top-pink.html for women or https://zura.com.au/default/men/men-tops/zura-power-sleeveless-tshirt-white.html for male.

And even though you may be tempted to show off that muscular body that you’ve worked extra hard for in the gym day after day, you’re often better off avoiding clothes that cling to you. People will appreciate the effort you’ve put into your physique without you outlining every muscle that you’ve created. Gym wear cloths should be comfortable, trendy, stylish and above all, make you feel you good when you put them on. It’s like you are the NEW YOU just like Zura always says.

In order to not appear to be a choppy and disproportionate as a mesomorph, you want to avoid putting on too many layers of clothing as this will just add bulk in all of the wrong places. In other words, you’re better off wearing just one shirt as opposed to a t-shirt and button-up over it as this will best accentuate your muscular and shapely upper body.

Female mesomorphs with an hourglass shape have the luxury of choosing most any style because they all tend to complement your body. Additionally, don’t be afraid to choose clothing that clinches at the waist, drawing attention to your curves. Adding a little colour in specific areas can also provide the same effect (which you’ll learn more about shortly).
